MRS. MARY THOMPSON DIES AT FARM HOME

Ill Seven Months; Funeral Sunday Afternoon at Home.

Mrs. Mary C. Thompson died at 6:20 o'clock this morning at her home northeast of this city, after an illness of about seven months. She had been bedfast since March 1. Funeral services will be held at the home Sunday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. C. C. Dillavou, pastor of the United Brethren church, officiating. Burial will be made in the Cass Center cemetery.

Mrs. Thompson was 66 years old and had lived in this county most of her life. Her husband, James Thompson, preceded her in death two and a half years ago. Three children, Alta, Leonard, and Helen, all of whom are at home, and two brothers, Geo. W. Shafer of this city, and Frank H. Shafer, of Blairsburg, survive.

Throughout her illness, Mrs. Thompson had been a patient sufferer. She was a kind mother, and the sympathy of many friends will be extended the children and other relatives in their bereavement.
