Hauman Rites Here Saturday

Mrs. Emma Hauman, 85, died at midnight [November 4, 1959] Wednesday at the Askvig Custodian Home in Eagle Grove. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Foster funeral home with the Rev. A. E. Rau officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.

Emma Mourlam, daughter of Lewis and Elnora Mourlam, was born Nov. 24, 1873 in France. She was 12 years old when she came to the United States with her mother, locating in Wright county, where she was reared and educated. She was married to Adam Hauman and the family resided at Blairsburg for several years, moving then to Woolstock and later to Webster City. Following the death of her husband, Mrs. Hauman moved to Des Moines where she had made her home the past 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two sisters and five brothers. Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
