Gustav E. "Gus" Arne, of Plymouth, formerly of Renwick, IA; born September 14, 1905, went to be with his Lord October 23, 2003. Preceded in death by his son, Douglas; grandson, Douglas; 6 brothers and a sister. He is survived by Louise, his wife of nearly 74 years; sons, Dr. Gerald Arne & wife Jean, Dr. Dennis Arne & wife Fern; 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Axelsen & husband Max; nieces, nephews and many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral Service 11:00 AM Monday at Glory of Christ Lutheran Church 4040 Hwy. 101 in Plymouth. Visitation 1 hour prior to service at the church. Additional service and interment in Renwick, IA. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Glory of Christ Church or Courage Center. A special thank you to the nursing and caregiving staff at North Ridge. David Lee Funeral Home Wayzata.
