EL PASO - Orene E. Crump, 80, R.R. 1, El Paso, a retired farmer, died at 10:10 a.m. yesterday (March 8, 1991) at Brokaw Hospital, Normal. His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at El Paso Baptist Church, the Rev. Donald Glasgow officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, El Paso. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Froelich Memorial Home, El Paso, and one hour before the service at the church.

He was born Aug. 8, 1910, in Renwick, Iowa, a son of Edward and May Barto Crump. He married Sena E. Echliman Nov. 26, 1931, in Secor. She survives. Other survivors include three sons, James E., El Paso; Roger L. Indianapolis; and Richard E., Schofield, Wis.; two daughters, Janice M. Remmers, Ocala, Fla., and Barbara A. Stoller, Pekin; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Five brothers and one sister preceded him in death. Mr. Crump was a farmer in the El Paso area for 55 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of the El Paso Baptist Church and the Woodford County Farm Bureau. Memorials may be made to his church or to the El Paso Rescue Squad.
