Milton, FL--Mrs. Avis Gobeli, 59, of Thornton, Iowa, died Wednesday afternoon in a local hospital after a short illness. She was a lifelong resident of Goodell and Meservey area and was visiting her son, Allan Gobeli of 901 Bonner Ave., Milton, at the time of her death. She was a member of Evangelical United Brethren of Meservey, Iowa. Survivors include her widower, Lester Gobeli of Thornton, Iowa; four other sons, Daryl Gobeli, Leonard Gobeli, and Donald Gobeli all of Mason City, Iowa, and David Gobeli at home, two brothers Harvey Wilson of Salt Lake City, Utah and Verdie Wilson, of Concord, Calif; three sisters, Mrs. J.E. Thoreson of Tokyo, Japan, Mrs. Earl Finn of Fairfield, Calif. and Mrs. Ira Langlitz of Goodell, Iowa and 12 grandchildren. The body was sent to Meservey, Iowa, for services and burial, Clergyman Rev. Clive Cook officiating.
