Mary Julia Morrow, 102, of Exeter, Missouri, passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, at St. John's Hospital, Cassville, Missouri.

She was born June 26, 1905, in Pika, Iowa, the daughter of Robert F. and Evalena (DeLong) Baker. On June 2, 1935, in Clarion, Iowa, she was united in marriage to Arthur Morrow who preceded her in death in 1983. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Grant Baker and three sisters, Nellie Marie Talbert, Olive Lucille Martin and Elva Mae Sullivan. Survivors include: two sons, Victor Morrow, of Exeter, and Robert "Bob" Morrow and his wife, Paula, of Princeton, Ill.; one daughter, Mary Lou Phelps, of Springfield; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

She pursued her education in Iowa where she received her teaching degree. She was an elementary teacher for the Iowa School System for several years. In 1976 She moved to Exeter to make her home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, in First Christian Church, Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Minister Sid Allsbury will conduct the services. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cassville. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Fohn Funeral Home.
