RICHARD LOUIS FOSS, 66, of Aurora, Colorado died Aug. 31 at home. Services were Sept. 4 in Fort Logan National Cemetery. The body was cremated. Mr. Foss was born in Belmond, Iowa. He was a retired engineer and vice president of engineering at Portadrill Inc. He served in the 353 Infantry Medical Detachment, Third Battalion, 89th Division. He was a member of the Masons and Boy Scouts of America. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn; two sons, James and Richard Jr. of Golden; two daughters, Rebecca Foss of Grand Junction and Pamela Foss Kelly of Englewood; his sister, Charlotte Ann Winter of Denver; one brother, Robert of Belmond; and six grandchildren. Contributions: Hospice of Metro Denver, Colorado Cancer Research Project, or Qualife.
