Luella A. Dries, 96, Bismarck Baptist Home, formerly of 613 N. 16th St., died April 21, 1995, at the home. Services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, at Eastgate Funeral Chapel, Bismarck, with Gilbert Ricter and Steve Blubaugh officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Steele. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. today, at the funeral chapel.

Luella Dries was born June 19, 1899, at Meservey, Iowa, the daughter of Howard and Hannah (Geiter) Dries. At the age of three, she moved with her family to Kidder County near Braddock, where she attended school. She came to Bismarck in 1928 and worked at various restaurants. She also had a rooming house for several years. She entered the Baptist Home in 1994.
