Pamela Rose Christiansen, 51, of Annapolis, Maryland died of cancer May 19 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a four-year illness. Mrs. Christiansen was born in Mason City, Iowa, and received a bachelor of arts degree from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. She was an office administrator for the Maryland Department of Transportation. She was a member of the Annapolis Chorale and sang in the Naval Academy Chapel Choir. Her interests also included gardening, needlepoint and making dolls.
Surviving are two sons, Clayton P. Christiansen of Arnold and Cortland R. Christiansen of Hollywood, Calif.; and two sisters, Patricia Weisbrot of Portsmouth, N.H., and Paula Rowland of Medina, N.Y.
Friends may visit from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester St. Services will follow at 3 p.m. at the Naval Academy Main Chapel. Burial will be in Amsterdam Township Cemetery in Goodell, Iowa. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
