BETTY LOU HUTCHINSON, 79 LOVING WIFE, MOTHER AND GRANDMOTHER

ROCKFORD, IL - Betty Lou Hutchinson, 79, of Rockford died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007, in Saint Anne Center, after an extended illness. Born Dec. 19, 1927, in Goodell, Iowa, the daughter of Al and Madge (Jenison) Mayhew. The family moved to Loves Park in 1935, where she graduated from Harlem High School, met and married Clyde "Hutch" Hutchinson on Feb. 4, 1949. The couple moved to Rockford in 1958. Member of Teamsters 325 Retirees Club. Survivors include husband, Clyde; children, Bonnie (Tom) Moore, Michael "Sparky" (Tabi) Hutchinson, all of Rockford, Cathleen (Kevin) Peters of Florida; many grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and one brother. Predeceased by grandson, Clint Taflinger; and a brother. Service at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, in Riverside Community Church with the Rev. Dr. William R. Kerr Sr. officiating. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, in Delehanty Funeral Home Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
