December 12, 1921 - June 28, 1973

Funeral services Mrs. Louis (Gladys) Seebeek of rural Goodell, who passed away Thursday morning at the Belmond Hospital, will be at 1:30 pm. Saturday in the Immanuel Reformed Church near Belmond. The Rev. John Steal will officiate. Burial will be in the Belmond cemetery with the Willim- Andrew Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Born December 12, 1921, in Kanawha, Iowa, she was the daughter of George and Edith (Ruter) Roskamp. She was raised and educated in the Kanawha area and later moved with her family to a home near Belmond. After completing her education Mrs. Seebeck worked in the Clarion Hospital. On January 31, 1947, she was united, in marriage to Louis Seebeck in her parents home new Belmond and after their marriage the couple farmed near Goodell and Belmond. Mrs. Seebeck had been in ill health since March 30 of this year. She was a member of the Immanuel Reformed Church and the Ladies Guild of that Church. She had been baptized in the Wright Christian Reformed Church as an infant.

Survivors include her husband Louis, 3 Brothers: Carl Roskamp of Belmond, Bernard Roskamp of Clarion, and Gene Roskamp of Moline, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother.
