Alyce Hattersley, 82, of Bristol, Illinois passed away on Saturday, Dec. 13, 1997 at Hillside Health Care Center in Yorkville. She was born April 30, 1915 in Kanawha, Iowa, the daughter of Anton and Anna (Jenson) Benson. She was a member of the Redemeer Lutheran Church in Aurora.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Dudley of Aurora; three sons, Roger (Jill) Hattersley of Fayetteville, N. C., Robert Hattersley of Lyons, Colo., Gardy (Judie) Hattersley of Sugar Grove; six grandchildren, Tami Augusten, Bridget DiBella, DeeDee Assell, Chez Mohler, Jackie Garza, John Hattersley; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Helga Iverson of Tacoma, Wash.; a brother, Milford Benson of Sioux City, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held at the convienience of the family. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements were entrusted to the McKeown-Dunn Funeral Home, Ltd. in Oswego.
