SUNDANCE, Wyo. -- Mrs. Gertrude Anastasia Rogers, formerly of Babson Park, Florida died Thursday (Jan. 16, 1997) at Crook County Memorial Nursing Home in Sundance. She was 92.
Born in Wright County, Iowa, on April 18, 1904, she was a longtime resident of Babson Park, having moved to Sundance three months ago. She and her husband traveled with the Black Hills Passion Play from 1942 to 1978.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Eugene Rogers, three sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her daughters, Sarah Rogers and Mary Yemington, both of Sundance, and Linda Rogers, Babson Park; sisters, Ursula Edfors, Parkridge, Ill., and Genevieve Gardewin, Aurora, Ill.; brother, Joseph Gardewin, Springfield, Ohio; and five grandchildren. Fidler-Roberts Northeastern Wyoming Funeral Chapel of Sundance.
