Ginnie Peace, 68, of 4954 S. Salina St. died Sunday from injuries suffered in an auto accident in the town of Rockland near Roscoe, Sullivan County. A native of Clarion, Iowa, Ms. Peace lived in Syracuse many years. She was employed with Ambassador Cards. Ms. Peace was a member of the Church of Today, Onondaga Hill. She also worked with Literacy Volunteers, and volunteered with the Samaritan Center. She was active in the Course in Miracles religious group.

Surviving are three daughters, Barbara Jo Ryken of Berkeley, Calif., Carol Ann Ryken of Syracuse and Sally Ryken of Woburn, Mass.; two sons, Donald Allen Ryken of Metairie, La., and Lawrence Paul Ryken of New London, Conn.; a sister, Jean Hansen of Tucson, Ariz.; a brother, Bob Hansen of Clarion; and a grandchild.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at DeWitt Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Iowa. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 4901 Jamesville Road.
