FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas-- Ellen M. Shively, 84, of Fayetteville died March 7 in Fayetteville. She was born Feb. 4, 1923, in Clarion, Iowa, to Howard C. and Lillian Blue King. She had worked as a reporter for an Iowa newspaper and a radio station in Kingsport, Tenn., before becoming an instructor in English. She attended St. Theodore Episcopal Church in Bella Vista. Survivors include two sisters, Virginia King of Fayetteville and Lucille Brei of New Ulm, Mich. Service is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Fayetteville. Arrangements are by Nelson-Berna Funeral Home and Crematory in Fayetteville.
