David R. Ashpole

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, 1998, in Tabor Heights United Methodist Church for David R. Ashpole, who died Oct. 15 at age 83. Mr. Ashpole was born July 22, 1915, in Belmond, Iowa. He retired in 1980 as a field representative for ESCO. He was a member of the church. In 1939, he married Pearl Thompson. Survivors include his wife; sons, Daryl of Orting, Wash., and Douglas of Portland; daughter, Sharon Hanson of Irvine, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Private interment will be in Skyline Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Skyline Funeral Home.
