SOUTH BEND - Wanda P. Forshey, 84, of South Chicago Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away after an extended illness at 7:20 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, in Hendricks Community Hospital, Danville, Ind. Mrs. Forshey was born on July 31, 1914, in Belmond, Iowa. She resided in the Michiana area since 1950, coming from Mason City, Iowa.

On July 3, 1934, as Wanda P. Butterfield, she married Gilbert N. Grimm, who passed away on May 12, 1970. On Nov. 22, 1979, she married William F. Forshey, who also preceded her in death on Dec. 27, 1992.

Mrs. Forshey is survived by a daughter, Marlene J. (Bob) Ferguson of Indianapolis, Ind.; two sons, Clifton L. (Carole) Grimm of South Bend and Elwin E. (Carol) Grimm of Jacksonville, Fla.; and by six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 18, in the Hanley and Sons "Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home, located at West Ireland Road/Indiana 23, South Bend. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 19, in the funeral Home. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, South Bend. The family request that all memorial contributions be made to the St. Joseph County Hospice or to the charity of donor's choice. The Hanley and Sons "Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home, located at West Ireland Road/Indiana 23, South Bend, handled services and extend heartfelt sympathy to the family of Wanda P. Forshey.
