LEE'S FERRY, ARKANSAS -- William V. (Bill) Palsdofer, 74, of Lee's Ferry died May 12, at the VA Hospital. He was born August 6, 1921 in Eagle Grove, Iowa, and attended Iowa State University. He was a retired field representative of the Gates Rubber Company. He served in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Naval Reserve and was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Hester of Little Rock; one daughter, Jane Smith of Little Rock; and two grandsons. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 18, 1996 at 10 a.m. at Lee's Ferry Landing. Steve Drye of the Hollis Chapel Missionary Baptist Church will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Grant County Sheriff's Auxiliary.
