KIAWAH ISLAND, SC - Margaret L. Winkleman, 71, died Saturday at her residence. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in John's Island Presbyterian Church. Burial will be private, according to Stuhr's Downtown Chapel.

Mrs. Winkleman was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, a daughter of Benjamin McCulloch and Eva McCulloch. She was a graduate of Iowa State University. She was a member of John's Island Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas H. Winkleman; a daughter, Cynthia S. Schurtz of Baltimore; a son, David F. Winkleman of Westmont, Ill.; a sister, Mildred Greenleaf of Salt Lake City, Utah; a brother, Dale McCulloch of Sacramento, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
