Earl William August Korth passed away on September 21, 1965 at the Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. He lived his entire life in Franklin County. He was born December 6, 1898 in Morgan township to Albert and Mathilda (Bauge) Korth. He married Harriet Campbell at Dows December 10, 1919. Survivors include his wife, Harriet, two daughters, Loretta, Mrs. Elmer Paulson of Latimer; and Charlotte, Mrs. Alvin Meyer, of Iowa Falls; one son, Delvern of Dows; brothers Leslie & Ervin of Dows and Clarence of Oshkosh, WI. One sister, Miss Elsie Korth also survives along with 9 grandchildren. Burial was in Morgan Cemetery east of Dows.

Earl W. Korth, 66, Dows farmer died at Franklin General hospital at Hampton, Monday night. He was a life long resident of Franklin county. He was born December 6, 1898 in Morgan township, the son of Albert and Mathilda Korth. He was married to Harriette Campbell, December 10, 1919 at Dows. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Elmer Paulson of Latimer and Mrs. Alvin Meyer of Iowa Falls and one son, Delvern of Dows; one sister, Elsie Korth of Dows and three brothers, Leslie and Ervin of Dows and Clarence of Oshgosh, Wisconsin and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Services were held Thursday at the Morgan Methodist church east of Dows. Burial was in the
Morgan cemetery. Rev. Thomas Stewart officiated. The Van Hove Funeral home in Dows was in charge of the arrangements.
