Marcella M. Korth Denger died on August 27, 1990 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines of an apparent heart attack. She was born May 22, 1925 on the family farm in Franklin County to Theodore and Lillie Riis Korth. She married Forrest A. Denger at Alden May 28, 1944. They farmed south of Dows until moving to their present home in 1981. Her husband died June 5, 1984. Survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. James (Jean) Ritter of Dows and Mrs. Anthony (Marjorie) Johnson of Bondurant; 2 granddaughters and 2 sisters, Irene Watt of Milford & Bernadine Korth of Dows. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery in Dows.
