STOCKPORT, Ohio — Delma I. Walsh, 67, of 1787 St. Rt. 266, died Wednesday (Feb. 16, 2005) at her home. At her request, there will be no services. She was born Sept. 9, 1937, in Dows, Iowa, to Leonard and Geraldine Huey Bates. She graduated from Mason City High School. She had been a nurse's aid at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. She was united in marriage to Frank Walsh on June 16, 1956. He died in 1991.

She is survived by two sons, Patrick Walsh and wife, Lori, of Story City, and Scott Walsh and wife, Kelli, of Stockport, Ohio; two grandchildren, Brandi Walsh and Cody Walsh, of Stockport, Ohio; two brothers, Robert Baird and Dean Baird; three sisters, Marge Milbrath, Betty Middleton and Judy. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister, Jean Wengert; and her stepmother, Georgia Bates. McCurdy Funeral Home, in Beverly, Ohio, is in charge of arrangements.
