Otto Korth died May 25, 1936. He was the son of Mr. & Mrs. William Korth, Otto was born at the home place in Morgan township, September 11, 1879. On January 30, 1901, he was married to Miss Lydia Graepler. They had 10 children. Those surviving are Gail (Mrs. Harold Riis); Esther (Mrs. Ralph Hemenway); Leona (Mrs. Palmer Tolackson), all of Dows; Adelia (Mrs. K. Floyd Thorp); Glen, Myrtle and Vern of Iowa Falls; Lloyd of Seattle, Washington; and Darrold of Dows. A daughter, Mildred, preceded him in death in 1914 and his wife died November 18, 1929. Also there are 8 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Albert and Theodore of Dows; and Walter of Galt; 3 sisters, Sarah and Amanda and Mrs. H. W. Lemke of Dows. Burial was in Morgan Cemetery east of Dows.
