DOWS---Bernadine B. Korth, 77, of 1048 Finch Ave. died Friday (Nov. 8, 1996) at Franklin General Hospital, Hampton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Morgan United Methodist Church, Dows, with the Rev. Michael B. Tolles officiating. Burial will be in the Morgan Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 3 p.m. Monday at Willim Funeral Home, Latimer, with the family available from 6 to 8 p.m.

Bernadine Bertha Korth was born on a farm in Morgan Township of Franklin County on Sept. 16, 1919, the daughter of Theodore E. and Lillie (Riis) Korth. She attended Morgan Township School through 8th grade and graduated from Dows High School in 1936. She lived all of her life on the family farm and for a number of years worked at Christiansen Grocery Store in Coulter. She had helped with the ladies groups of Morgan United Methodist Church. Bernadine was always there when her family needed her and was always present at activities that her nieces and nephews were involved in. She loved playing bingo.

Those left to cherish her memory include one sister, Irene Watt and husband, Robert, of Milford; a special friend of many years, Kenneth Kolb of Thornton; a sister-in-law, Ethol Korth; six nieces; three nephews; 17 grandnieces and grandnephews; and seven great-greatnieces and great-grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Theodore (Bud) Korth; and two sisters, Linnae Ostegaard and Marcella Denger.
