CLARION — Palmer Homervold, 72, of Clarion, died Wednesday (Oct. 8, 1997) at home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at First Lutheran Church, Clarion. Burial will be at 2 p.m. today at the Mamrelund Cemetery, Randall. Willim Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Palmer Homervold was born April 24, 1925, on a farm near Eagle Grove. Survivors include his wife, Arlene; children, Luann Warren of Clarion; Carol Sheely, Des Moines; and Randy Homervold of Des Moines; six grandchildren; one brother, Arthur Homervold of Clarion; and one sister, Esther Wood of Algona. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
