May 25, 1996BELMOND -- Elizabeth Madaline Baker, 82, of Belmond, died Thursday (May 23, 1996) at the Belmond Health Care Center. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, with the Rev. Tom Currier and Deacon Nick Schmit officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:30 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Tenold Funeral Home, with a 2:30 p.m. rosary by the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and Rosary Society and a 7 p.m. Scripture service.
Elizabeth Baker was born Sept. 25, 1913, at Steamboat Rock. Survivors include sons, Robert Keleher of Fremont, Calif., and Larry Keleher of Colorado Springs, Colo.; daughters, Donna Freese of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Diana Bell of Avinger, Texas; brothers, Adam Just of Sheffield, and John Just of Belmond; one sister, Ann Nelson of Dows; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters and two granddaughters.
