Debra Kay Stueland, 51, of Eagle Grove, Iowa, died Monday morning, August 6, 2007, at Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge.
Debra Kay Baker was born on July 11, 1956, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the daughter of Stanley and Mildred (Arnold) Baker. She graduated with the Eagle Grove High School class of 1974. Deb was united in marriage to Kent Stueland on August 21, 1979, at the Ullensvang Lutheran Church in Thor. The couple established their home in Eagle Grove. Deb had worked at Meridith Inc. in Clarion and later at the Rotary Ann Nursing Home in Eagle Grove. Debra was a member of First Baptist Church in Eagle Grove. She collected Native American Indian memorabilia, enjoyed cross stitching and was a big fan of Elvis Presley.
Survivors include her husband Kent L. Stueland of Eagle Grove, Iowa; son, Chris and his girlfriend, Jashanna King of Clarion, Iowa; brother, Robert Baker and his girlfriend, Rose Jensen of Storm Lake, Iowa; sister, Kathy Sosa of Clarion, Iowa; a niece, Laura Baker; great niece, Liliana Kay Antonio; and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
