Lena V. Pedersen, daughter of Peter G and Lois S Yackey Pedersen married Thomas Emanual Bayliss March 31, 1902 at Chapin Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband two sons, a sister, a brother, and one grandchild. She is survived by two sons Harold of Belmond and Gilbert of Jefferson, Oregon; two daughters, Mrs. David (Alphia) Pierce of Clear Lake and Mrs. Edward (Della) Rayl of Clarion. Three brothers James of Manley, Johnny of Belmond, Leonard of Nora Springs, Three sisters, Mrs Henry (Alvena) Neil of Ava Mo. Mrs Sophia Loos and Mrs Carrie Homerding of Mason City. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren. Burial in the Belmond Cemetery.
