January 25, 1837 -- October 23, 1922

Saloma Koch Watson was the daughter of Jacob and Ann Mary (Speilman) Koch. She was born in Lycoming County, Penn. At the age of eleven she moved with her family to Ogle Co. Ill. later the family moved to Black Hawk, Co. Iowa. Here she was united in marriage to Thomas Watson. Seven children were born to this union, two of whom died in infancy. One daughter Miss Ella passed away three years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Watson moved to Wright Co. about sixteen years ago. Mr Watson preceded his wife to the better land in March 1908. She has made her home with her son Charles and granddaughter Gertie.

She is survived by the following children: Charles, and Mrs. Delila Buck of Clarion, Ed of Waterloo; and Mrs. Martha Peterson of Ft. Dodge; one brother William Koch, of St, Cloud, Fl. and a sister Mrs. Euphamy Wilcox of Waterloo. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion.
