June 17, 1889 --- April 17, 1970

Robert Fred Buck received his education in the schools of Dayton township. On July 2nd, 1910 he was united in marriage to Hattie Sebby at the home of Ella Watson. To this union were born two children a son Russell, and a daughter Bernice. They farmed near Clarion untill 1930 at which time they moved to town. Mr. Buck was employed by the farmers elevator and the Farmers Produce before his retirement. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and was also a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Buck, one brother in infancy and a brother George. Survived by his wife, Hattie; a daughter Bernice (Howard) Brimmer of LaGrange Park, Ill.; three grandchildren, Russell Buck of Ft.Collins,Colo. Susan Storhaug of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Kathy Leeper of Ft. Collins, Colo. and three great grandchildren. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion.
