June 29, 1860 -- April 1, 1925

Margaret Delila Watson was born near Waterloo in Black Hawk Co. She was the fourth child of Charles and Saloma (Koch) Watson she grew to womanhood in the place of her birth and in her nineteenth year was united in marriage to Jacob F. Buck. They were the parents of three children a son dying in infancy and little George at age five. Fred the only surviving child, resides south of Clarion and was with his mother in her last days. Mrs. Buck and her husband came to Wright Co. in 1880 and for the past thirty-five years have made there home in this locality. residing on a farm south of this city for over twenty years. Twelve years ago they gave up farm life and came to town to live. Survived by her husband, two brothers, Charles and Edward, and a sister Mrs. Martha Peterson of Fort Dodge. She was a faithful member of the Rebekah Lodge. Burial, Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion.
