PEORIA -- Arlo M. White, 72, of Peoria died at 3:40 a.m. Sunday, July 30, 1995, at his residence. Born Nov. 29, 1922, in Belmond, Iowa, to Raymond J. and Anna Marie Juhl White, he married E. Ruth Cottrell on Feb. 14, 1946, in Peoria. She survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. David (Sunnie) Ohl of East Peoria; one brother, Raymond "Bud" of Peoria; and one grandson. One daughter, Kim White, one brother and one sister preceded him in death.

He worked for Pabst Brewery in Peoria Heights for 41 years, retiring as a shipping clerk in 1982. He was a past member of Pabst Credit Union board of directors and was a member of Pabst Quarter Century Retirees Club. He was a World War II Navy veteran. He was a former sports timekeeper for Bradley University.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Wilton Mortuary. The Rev. Warren D. Freiheit will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Creve Coeur Fire Department.
