Entered into rest Monday, November 26, 2007 at University Hospital, Mrs. Violet May Sharp, 90, of Augusta.

Mrs. Sharp was born in Rowan, Iowa. She has resided in the Augusta area for the last six years. Mrs. Sharp was the owner of a day care. She was a member of the Cheney Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her sons, Fred Sharp (Vicky) of Martinez, Ga., Eugene Sharp (Ella) of Spokane, Wash., Jack Sharp of Spokane, Wash.; daughter, Vickie Reed (Bob) of Spokane, Wash.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Sharp was preceded in death by two daughters, Mary and Shirley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Johns Tower, 724 Greene Street, Augusta, Ga. 30901.
