Leta Shafley-Saginaw, Michigan Passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, March 31, 2005. Age 88 years. The daughter of the late George and Mary Felker was born September 22, 1916 in Goldfield, Iowa. She married Lawrence Shafley in 1937. He passed away in 1986. Surviving are three sons and their spouses, Lawrence J. Shafley, Saginaw; Arthur T. and Phyllis Shafley, Bullhead, AZ.; Dennis and Linda Shafley, Verbena, AL.; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, a daughter-in-law, Robin Shafley, and two brothers and two sisters. The funeral service will take place at 8:00 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2005, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Douglas Kahl will officiate. Friends may call at the Chapel from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday.
