PEKIN, IL-- Marabel A. Wildeber, 80, formerly of 1310 Hilltop died at 2:45 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, 1998, at Pekin Manor. Born April 20, 1917, in Eagle Grove, Iowa, to John and Inez Beal Brinzanik, she married Edward M. Wildeber on July 14, 1935, in Eagle Grove. He died Feb. 26, 1980, in Pekin. Two brothers, one sister and one great-granddaughter also preceded her in death. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ken (Karalyn) Garber and Mrs. Ron (Cathie) Bell, both of Pekin, and Mrs. Ken (Gini) Day of Peoria; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She worked on the bottling line at Hiram Walker from 1946 to 1981. She owned and operated the former Wildeber's Dance Studios from 1959 to 1973. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Holiday Ramblers Camping Club, Caper Club of Peoria and the National Dance Masters. She was Pekin's first welcome wagon hostess. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Woolsey Funeral Home. The Rev. Vandennis Nguyen will officiate. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
