Pneumonia following serious throat infection fatal to Eagle Grove young man. Burial Wednesday.

Raymond Joseph Peach died of pneumonia at Worrell hospital in Rochester, Minnesota, Monday morning at 7 o'clock, August 12, 1935. Funeral services were held in Eagle Grove, Wednesday morning at Sacred Heart church. Burial was made in the family lot in Calvary cemetery.

Raymond Joseph Peach, the son of Mrs. Roy Peach of Wessington Springs, So. Dakota, formerly of Eagle Grove, was born August 17, 1910, in Eagle Grove, and passed away after an illness of three months at Worrell hospital in Rochester, Minn., Monday Monday morning at 7 o'clock. August 12, 1935, at the age of 24 years, 11 months, 26 days. He attended Sacred Heart and Eagle Grove high school, graduating with the class of 1928. After graduation he joined the navy and served until after the death of his father. For the past five years he has been working in New York city.

He leaves to mourn their loss his mother, Mrs. Roy Peach of Wessington Springs, South Dakota and his brother Robert of Marshall, Minn. Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Collopy of Eagle Grove, Mr. and Mrs. P. C. Murrary and daughter Lucille of Rochester, Minn., Miss Alice Clifford of Marshall, Minn., Mrs. Irving Hauser of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Collopy of Hawarden and Mrs. Wm. Bowerman of Sandborn, Minn., were among those who were here for the funeral.
