MRS. ROY (CATHERINE A.McCLAIN) PEACH FORMER RESIDENT BURIED HERE

Graveside services were held Saturday morning in Calvary cemetery for Mrs. Roy Peach of Huron, SD, a former Eagle Grove resident. Mrs. Peach died at her home in Huron Wednesday following a long illness. Her husband and two sons, Raymond and Bob preceded her in death. Here for the committal service were two nieces, Lucille Murray of Green Bay, Wisconsin and Alice Clifford of St. Paul, Minnesota.

Mrs. C. Peach Dies Tuesday At Age 71
Mrs. Catherine A. Peach, 71, and of Huron 21 years, died in John's Hospital at 3 p.m. Tuesday. She had been hospitalized since March 30. She resided at 177 Iowa Ave. S. E. and had worked in various cafes including the Service Cafe prior to her illness.

Catherine McClain was born Sept. 18, 1884 at Emmett, S. D., daughter of Mr., and Mrs. Mathew McClain. Survivors include one brother, Hugh McClain of Marshall, Minn., and grandchildren. Her husband, one son and nine sisters preceded her in death. Mrs. Peach was a member at the American Legion Auxiliary. The body is at the Welter Funeral Home.
