HAWARDEN, Iowa -- Scott Johnson, 36, of rural Woolstock, Iowa, formerly of Hawarden, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2001, at his residence. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Webster City, Iowa, with the Rev. Doug Bullock-Tiffany officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Webster City. Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. today at Foster Funeral Home in Webster City. Visitation will resume 11 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Scott LeRoy Johnson, son of Russell and Judy (Fischer) Johnson, was born May 3, 1965, in Hawarden. In 1972, the family moved to Webster City. He attended Webster City schools. On July 28, 1990, he married Tracy Caquelin in Webster City. The couple resided in Webster City, then moved to a farm northwest of Webster City in 1999. He had been employed with Maudlin Construction, Weaver Construction of Alden, Iowa, Hallett Construction of Boone, Iowa, Broshar Implement of Woolstock and was working with Bruce Wilson in farm operations. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and International Motor Contest Association.

He is survived by his wife, Tracy; sons, Jeff and Jamie, both at home; a daughter, Kayla Johnson at home; parents, Russ and Judy Johnson of Sac City, Iowa; brothers, Steven Johnson of Webster City and Brian Johnson of Sac City; sisters, Debra Peterson and Brenda Plain, both of Sac City; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dick and Connie Caquelin of Woolstock; grandfather, Melvin Johnson of Akron, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Ella Johnson; and maternal grandparents, Walter and Lucille Fischer.
