Irene Wicks, 78, of Eagle Grove, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Jan. 31, 1997, in North Iowa Mercy Health Care Center, Mason City, from complications after a fall. Services: 2:30 p.m. Monday, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Clarion. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Willim Funeral Home, Eagle Grove. Burial: Norway Township Cemetery, southwest of Clarion.

Survivors include her husband, Homer; two daughters, Delores Ditzenberger of Bloomington, Ind., and Patty Hood of Blue Earth, Minn.; three sons, Richard Rice of Buffalo Grove, Ill., Charles Babcock of Mount Vernon and Larry Wicks of Cedar Rapids; and a sister, Margaret Thompson of Renwick.
