NORTHWOOD - Larry O. Thayer, 75, of Northwood, died Monday (Oct. 29, 2007) at the Lutheran Retirement Home in Northwood. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, Highway 65 South in Northwood, with the Rev. Wendi Gillan officiating. Burial will take place at the South Shell Rock Cemetery in Northwood. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.

Larry O. Thayer was born on July 19, 1932, in Belmond, to Oscar and Delila (Thomas) Thayer. Larry lived on the family farm his whole life. Survivors include his brother, Richard Thayer of Jewell; and several nieces and nephews. Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, 641-324-1121.
