Eudora "Scottie" Scott, 81, Hinton (formerly of Belmond), died October 8, 2007 at Indian Hills Nursing and Rehab Center in Sioux City. Services were held October 11 at St. John Lutheran Church in Belmond with Pastor Lowell Halvorson officiating. Burial was in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Waterloo.

Eudora Mia was born December 29, 1925 to Eldora (Manthey) Scott and Jesse Scott in Waterloo. She attended school in Waterloo. She married Willard Scott on October 8, 1942. Eudora was a cook at the Alexander Community School, CAL Community School, and then was head cook at Belmond Community School until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents; half-brother Ruben Judisch; and brother Loren Scott. Eudora is survived by her children Charles (Maxine) Scott of Council Bluffs, Gerald (Carol) Scott of Hinton, and Larry (Kathy) Scott of Nora Springs; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; half-sister Rubena (Judisch) Stufflebeam of Waverly; Rosalyn (Judisch) Schuknecht of Des Moines, WA; brother Arlo Scott of Grants Pass, OR; and sister Lois (Scott) Stephens of Clear Lake.
