Lillian Kaduce, 92, Belmond, died October 22, 2007 at the Belmond Health Care Center. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 26 at the United Methodist Church in Belmond with Pastor Mike Druhl officiating. Burial will take place in the Immanuel Reformed Church Cemetery east of Belmond. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, October 25 at Dugger Ewing Funeral Home in Belmond and one hour prior to the service at the church Friday.

Lillian, daughter of Peter and Petria (Andersen) Larsen, was born May 7, 1915 on the family farm near Ottosen. She was raised on the farm and attended country school through the eighth grade. In 1936 she married Harold Hansen and they had three children. In the winter of 1956 Lillian married Herman Kaduce. Lillian enjoyed baking, sewing, gardening, embroidering, fishing and watching sporting events, especially Hawkeye basketball. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; infant son Daryl; three sisters; and seven brothers. Lillian is survived by her son Larry Hansen of Belmond; daughter Beverly E. Wise of Belmond; grandchildren Kimberly (Ronald) Ausborn of Belmond, Lon (Sara) Hansen of Souderton, PA, Bernard Wise of Belmond and Debra (Christopher) Sorensen of Urbandale; great-grandchildren Amanda, Eric, Rachel, Nicole, Anthony and Ashley; brothers Warren (Betty) Larsen of Florida, Lloyd (Theresa) Larsen of Des Moines and Darrell Johnson of Humboldt; sister Edna Sheehan of Humboldt; sisters-in-law JoAnn Larsen of Cherokee, Ruth Hansen of Belmond and Arlene Sampson of Goldfield; and brother-in-law Latton (Millie) Hansen of Ft. Dodge.
