Esther R. "Mickey" Cereda
Jan. 11, 1928 - Sept. 17, 2007

Mickey Cereda passed away on Sept. 17, 2007, at home with her family around her at the age of 79. She struggled with pain for many years. She was a woman of strength, courage and attitude. Mickey had a wonderful sense of humor. She was a beloved, caring wife, mother and grandmother. Mickey was born in Belmond, Iowa, moved to Fairfield in 1945 and graduated from Armijo High School in 1946. She was married to her best friend and the love of her life for 58 years. Mickey is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Art; son, Jerry Cereda of Caldwell, Idaho; daughter, Bunny Patton and husband, Mike, of Fairfield; daughter, Billie Flannery and husband, Dan, of Athol, Idaho; son, Frank Cereda and wife, Gail, of Fairfield; granddaughters, Stacey, Chrissy, Tricia and Jody; grandsons, Frank, Justin and John; great-grandchildren, Marcus, Jacob, Isabella and Madison; and sister, Earlene Haagensen of Susanville. Friends and family are invited to Art Cereda's home in Fairfield at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 26 in remembrance of Mickey
