INA DELLE YELTON
A memorial service for Ina Delle Yelton of Northeast Portland will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Pearson-Allen-Caldwell Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Riverview Abbey Mausoleum. Mrs. Yelton died of causes related to age Saturday in a Northeast Portland foster care home. She was 95.

She was born Jan. 26, 1896, in Eagle Grove, Iowa. Her maiden name was Lybarger. She married Eldridge Yelton on July 2, 1924, in Liberty, Mo; he died in 1943. Mrs. Yelton moved in 1925 to Salem and in 1931 to Longview, Wash. She worked as a switchboard telephone operator from 1949 to 1952 at the Monticello Hotel in Longview, Wash. Mr. and Mrs. Yelton owned and operated Yelton Plumbing and Heating from 1940 to 1943 in Longview, Wash. Mrs. Yelton moved to Portland in 1953. She was a switchboard operator from 1955 until she retired in 1964 from the Winters Apartments in Portland. Mrs. Yelton served on the Kelso School Board in Kelso, Wash., in the late 1940s and early 1950s.

Surivors include her daughter, Cathy Felder of Portland; son, Calvin E. of Valley Springs, Calif.; one grandson and three great-grandchildren. The family suggests that remembrances be contributions to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children; the Amaranth Youth Scholarship Fund, 2758 S.E. 170th, Ave. Portland, Ore. 97236; or the charity of the giver's choice.
