Albert W. Eddy, 70, Marshfield, died Aug. 22, 2002, at his home. He was born June 1, 1932, in Galt, Iowa, a son of James H. and Edith Rummens Eddy. He was married June 11, 1955, in Stover, to Inez Marie Kreglinger, who survives at the home.
He was a 1951 graduate of Stover High School. An Army veteran of the Korean War, he served in the standby reserves until 1961. He worked for the Missouri Conservation Commission as a towerman. He earned a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy in Rolla in 1960. He worked for Wagner Electric and Sachs Electric, both in St. Louis; Bull Moose Tube Company, Gerald; Independence Stave Company, Lebanon; and retired in 1995 from Roper Electric, Springfield. He was ordained a deacon and was a member of Faith Southern Baptist Church, Marshfield.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Jeanne Freeman, Marshfield; two sons, Duane Eddy and Daren Eddy, both of Marshfield; one sister, Grace Walters, Versailles; one brother, James Eddy, Gravois Mills; and three granddaughters. One son, Jonathan Eddy, preceded him in death.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Faith Baptist Church, Marshfield. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Stover Cemetery, Stover. Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. today at Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield, and from noon-2 p.m. Monday at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Stover. Memorials are suggested to Marshfield Fire Department or the Webster County Baptist Association.
