GLEN SIMPSON, BANKER, DIES IN ST. CHARLES

Funeral services for Glen C. Simpson, 55, of 955 N. Third st., president of the State Bank of St. Charles since 1939, will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Episcopal Church of St. Charles. He died Tuesday in Delnor hospital there. Mr. Simpson was a member of the Chicago investment brokerage firm of Angell & Simpson from 1928 to 1939. For 12 years he had been treasurer of the Fox Valley Live Stock center, which owns the site of the Kane County fair. He was president of the St. Charles police pension board, chairman of the board of the hospital, and a director of the Fox Valley Mental Health association.

Surviving are his widow, Marion; three sisters, Mrs. Violet Scheppler, Galt, Ia.; and Anna Meeker, Collins, Ia., and Mrs. Doris Huehn, Eldora, Ia.; and four brothers, Leo, of Galt, Ia., Lester and Ivan, of Des Moines, and Dale of Waterloo, Ia.
