Wright County MonitorSam Struhar, 38, owner and operator of the Ideal Locker plant at Clarion, died of a heart attack suddenly Tuesday morning about half an hour after he had gone to work. Mr. Struhar had been conversing with a meat salesman and turned to his desk to write a check when he was stricken. He had bowled with his team the previous evening and was apparently in his usual state of health.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the First Lutheran church with the W. Gordon Smedsrud, pastor, in charge. The Eyler funeral home of Clarion has charge of arrangements Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery in Ft. Dodge There will be a military service at the cemetery. He was a veteran of World War II.
Mr. Struhar is survived by his wife, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Struhar; three brothers. Steve, August and John Struhar: and five sisters, Mrs Ray Ulstad, Mrs. John Kolesar, Mrs. William Greehey, Mrs. W. Robbins and Mrs. Virgil Kellogg, all of Fort Dodge. There are also a number of nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
