Mrs. Viola D. Ferguson, 85, of Newport, Vermont died peacefully July 7, 2007 in Newport. She was born July 22, 1921 in Dows,Iowa. She married Joseph Ferguson who predeceased her. She is survived by two sons: Rodney Ferguson and his wife Donna of Lowell, and Dennis Ferguson and his wife Monica of Maysville, Georgia. She is also survived by four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday July 14, 2007 at the home of her son at 2507 Vt Rt 100, in Lowell with the Rev. John Genco officiating. Interment will take place in the National Veterans Cemetery, St. Petersburg,Florida. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Curtis-Britch-Converse-Rushford Funeral Homes, locally family owned and operated.
