Mary Fenninger Succumbs Friday

Miss Mary Fenninger, 82, a resident of Clarion since she was a young girl, died at her home, 816 East Central ave, last Friday forenoon. She was taken sick only two hours before her death. Miss Fenninger had been engaged in teaching all her life, and before her retirement a few years ago she was principal at Leon. She came to Clarion with her parents from Pennsylvania. Surviving are one brother, and one sister, John Fenninger and Blanche Fenninger, both of Clarion; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and a brother. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:30 at the Church of Christ. Rev. Calvin Milan conducted the services and burial was in Clarion Evergreen cemetery.
