Patrick J. McHale. son of James and Bridget McHale was born March 2, 1878, near Port Henry, N. Y. At the age of two years he moved with his parents to Wright county, settling on a farm in Wall Lake township. On Feb. 19, 1908. he was united in marriage to Mary Deimerly. who passed away on May 6, 1932. To this union two children were born. A daughter. Marguerite and a son, Leo both of Clarion. Pat, as he was commonly called, lived on a farm in Wall Lake township and was actively engaged in farming with his son until illness prevented his doing so. He passed away at the Clarion hospital Sunday, June 21. Services were conducted at the Catholic church Wednesday. June 24. at 9:30 a.m. Father Slowey officiating and Mrs. Keith Poor of Thor sang the mass. Pall bearers were Owen Mattingly, John Schumacher, Albert Fischer, Raymond Sebby. Wesley Hiipipre and Henry Wanken. He is survived by his son and daughter, two brothers. William and John and one sister. Mrs. Loretta Tillman. all of Clarion. Among the out of town relatives and friends attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Chambers. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene McGongile, John Chambers. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Moore, all of Ft. Dodge. Mrs. Frank Cull of Chicago, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Frank Harm of Sigourney, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Ferrell of Blairsburg, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Verrelmann Latimer. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hocraffer of Mason City. Mr. and Mrs. George Shanley, Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Wallace, James Wallace and Miss Laura Wallace, all of Webster City, Henry Wade of Garner and Mrs. Henry Keppers. Roger and Harold Keppers, Mr. and Mrs. John Schumacher. Chas. Keppers, George Wright and Owen and Tom Bennett, all of Eagle Grove.
